Eddie’s Family Funeral Home is proud to be locally owned and operated by Eddie and Michelle Howard since 1996.
At Eddie’s Family Funeral Home, our story spans many years and four generations of Howards serving the people of Izard County through funeral service. Beginning with Eddie’s grandfather, George “Preacher” Howard, who was a Church of Christ minister, funeral director, and Izard County Coroner. Eddie’s parents, Roman and Wilma Howard, were the second generation funeral directors and Coroner. Eddie and his brother Billy Howard were the third-generation funeral directors and coroners. The fourth-generation funeral director is Eddie’s son, Tyler Howard.
Our history reminds us that our most valuable possession is our reputation.
