Ziller Mae Chappell Craig

of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas

Ziller Mae Chappell Craig, daughter of the late Henry Chappell and Mamie Coleman Pugh, was born April 7, 1930 in Lepanto, Arkansas. She departed this life September 8, 2019 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 89 years, 5 months and 1 day. Ziller spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. To many kids around Mount Pleasant, she was known as "Granny". She retired from Con Agra Foods after 20 plus years of employment. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church.

Ziller is survived by two sons: Virgil Craig (Mary Williams) and Billy Craig all of Mount Pleasant; one daughter: Ann Beck (Dennis Mitchell) of Mount Pleasant; one sister: Morrine Kirby of Michigan; three grandchildren: Randall Craig (Teresa), Amanda Cartwright; Brandon Williams; two great grandchildren: Kilynn Dugger, Caiden Cartwright; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years: J. D. Craig; one grandson: Lee Luttrell; one son-in-law: Dave Beck; two sisters: Dawanda Underwood, Pearlene Bratton.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 12 from 6- 8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Graveside funeral service will be Friday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Reeves Cemetery near Guion.
