Zelda Elnora Adkisson Engles

Zelda Elnora Adkisson Engles, daughter of the late Walter Adkisson and Ora Frances Caraway Adkisson, was born September 12, 1934 in Lafferty, Arkansas. She departed this life April 28, 2023 in Mountain View, Arkansas at the age of 88 years, 7 months and 16 days. She was united in marriage to Billy Lee Engles February 14, 1953 and together they raised two sons. Zelda spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. She enjoyed doing word puzzles, reading and bird watching. She was of the Baptist faith.

Zelda is survived by two sons: Don Engles, Randy Engles and wife Stacie all of Guion; one granddaughter: Brandie Magness and husband Justin and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister: Armilda Heathington and one brother: Jackie Adkisson.

Graveside funeral service will be Monday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Reeves Cemetery with Gerald Coleman officiating. Burial will be at Reeves Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Pallbearers: Kerry Caraway, Kody Caraway, Trevor Pittman, Lindley Pittman, Corey Hall and Lynn Pittman.

Honorary Pallbearers: Kris Caraway, Jerry Frazier, Danny Condrey, Bob Arnold, Joey Conway, Allie Pittman, Sam Hall, Dalton Condrey, Fred Lamb and the Staff of The Blossoms in Mountain View.
