Wilson Enoch Teague

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Wilson Enoch Teague, son of the late Wilson Estes Teague and Marie Smith Teague, was born May 16, 1937 in Guion, Arkansas.  He departed this life December 4, 2021 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 18 days.  At the age of 17, Wilson went off to California and Washington find work.  On September 24, 1958 he married Janie Langston in Yakima, Washington.  The newlyweds, moved to Independence, Missouri where Wilson was employed by General Motors and Vindo Vending Machine Compnay.  After 20 years in Missouri, they moved to Melbourne and Wilson became a Contractor and built houses for 26 years.  His favorite hobby was gardening.  He loved growing and tending to his vegetable garden.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years:  Janie Teague of the home; two daughters:  Marsha and Stewart Moore and Cindy and Mike Ogilive all of Melbourne; two brothers:  John Teague and wife Janet and Tom and Marilyn Teague all of Melbourne; two grandchildren:  Payton Moore of Mountain Home and Marissa Moore of Melbourne; one brother-in-law:  H P Langston and wife Diane of Melbourne; one sister-in-law:  Dorothy Langston Richardson of Independence, Missouri; two lifelong friends:  Paul Gray Miller and Big Dave Sharp both of Melbourne; thirteen nieces and nephews:  Karen Caney, Chris Williams, Kathy Swann, Greg Robinson, Kim Pyle, Sarah Jo Sample, Eric Teague, Lacey Thornton, Kristin Hamby, April Martin Westmoreland, Mike Martin, Pam Richardson Smith, Janice Richardson Turner and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Wilma Jo Teague Williams, Adalee Teague Robinson and an infant brother:  Samuel Teague; one nephew: Kevin Martin and one niece:  Shirley Richardson.

Graveside funeral service will be Monday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Melbourne Cemetery with Tim Porter officiating under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Pallbearers:  Eric Teague, Randy Smith, Rhom Smith, Tim Stroud, Tony Watson and Dale Parish.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Big Dave Sharp and Paul Gray Miller.
