Wendell Winston Disotell

Of Pineville, Arkansas

Wendell Winston Disotell, son of the late Alfred Disotell and Minnie Ruth Davis Disotell, was born March 12, 1952 in Opelousas, Louisiana.  He departed this life April 13, 2025 at his home in Pineville, Arkansas at the age of 73. He was united in marriage to Rose Mary Kimble June 10, 1972 in Krotz Springs, Louisiana and together they raised three children. Wendell spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend.  Most of his working years were spent working offshore construction.  He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Calico Rock.

Wendell is survived by his wife of 52 years:  Rose Disotell of the home; three children:  Craig Disotell and wife Serena, Adam Disotell of Krotz Springs, Louisiana and Wendy Riley and husband Andy of Calico Rock; one sister:  Betty Patterson and husband Dave of McKinney, Texas; ten grandchildren:  Bryanna,  Anna,  Andrew, Cade, Abbigail, Malachi, Jonathan, Coby, Ava, Angelina; great grandchildren:  Lillian, Andrew and soon to be Tucker; his church family and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers:  Sonny, Ervin and Gilbert.

Visitation and funeral service will be Tuesday, April 15 at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Calico Rock.  Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m.  Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Andy and Sam Riley officiating.  Burial will follow at Sawyers Hollow Christian Refuge, 40 Joe Drive, Pineville, Arkansas 72566.

Pallbearers:  Andrew Riley, Cade Disotell, Malachi Riley, Jonathan Riley, Adam Disotell, Johnny Whitfield.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Coby Disotell, Jacob Whitfield, Jaden Whitefield, John Collier.
