Virginia Lee Cunningham Parker
Of Melbourne, Arkansas
Virginia Lee Cunningham Parker, daughter of the late John Lampkins and Violet Heathscott Lampkins, was born March 25, 1925 in White County, Arkansas. She departed this life February 29, 2020 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 94 years, 11 months and 4 days. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Parker, Sr. March 24, 1975. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She retired from the Human Resources Department of the Shoe Factory in Searcy, Arkansas. After retirement, she worked alongside her husband in the cattle business and helped operate Parker Meat Company.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 45 years: Lloyd Parker, Sr. of Melbourne; one son: Lloyd Parker, Jr. and wife Peggy of Pottsville; two grandchildren: Gina Pawlicki and husband Jon of Russellville and Lanny Brock Parker and wife Melaina of Chesapeake, Virginia; eight great grandchildren: Andy Parker of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Alyssa Parker of Jacksonville, Florida, Joseph Parker of Norfolk, Virginia, Keira Kenas of Chesapeake, Virginia, Sadie Saul, Jada Saul, Karley Saul, Journey Saul all of Russellville; a special niece: Lana Siewert of Colorado Springs, Colorado; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Jimmy Cunningham; two brothers: J.C. Lampkins, J. W. Lampkins; one sister: Frances Wright Ball and two great grandsons: Mason Parker Saul and Seth Jordan Saul.
A graveside memorial service at Melbourne Cemetery will be held on Tuesday, March 10 at 2:00 p.m. in conjunction to Lloyd E. Parker, Sr.'s graveside funeral service.
An additional memorial service will be held Friday, March 13 at 3:00 p.m. at White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy.
