Virgie Marie Mooney Lovelace was born at Heart, Arkansas, daughter of Henry and Louisa Phelps Mooney, June 21, 1929. Virgie's five brothers and one sister and two infant siblings preceded her in death as well as her parents.

Virgie married Raymond Donald Lovelace December 29, 1946, and had one daughter, Kathryn Louise Lovelace Miller and two granddaughters, Robin Rachelle Cashman and Kara Ann Coleman.

Raymond passed away forty days prior to Virgie, and they always said they wanted to go together. They lived a full life together, working, traveling, and just being together. This year would have marked their seventy-five years as husband and wife. Now they are together again.

Virgie worked as a beautician during the sixties. The rest of their married life she was the glue that held the family together. She helped Raymond and ran the household and everyone that ever had a meal with them will tell you she was a wonderful cook. She was a spotless housekeeper enjoying her home and taking care of those she loved.  Family meant everything to Virgie and she loved her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews as well as immediate family. She is the last of that generation to pass away and she said, I miss them all so much. It was lonely to be the last with only memories.

We each hold a special memory of Vergie, and her sudden passing is very devastating for her daughter and granddaughters but we know she is now with her beloved husband and all is well.

Graveside funeral service will be Saturday, September 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Wises Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home, Calico Rock, Arkansas.
