Vincent John Hidalgo

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Vincent John Hidalgo, son of the late Vincent King Hidalgo and Virginia Mae Hall Hidalgo, was born October 1, 1943 in Torrance, California.  He departed this life December 16, 2023 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 6 days.  He was united in marriage to Polly Hidalgo and together they raised a family. Vincent spent his life as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend.  Most of his working years were spent at James Smith Western Methods as a machinist, retiring after 30 years of employment.

He is survived by his wife: Polly Hidalgo of the home; four stepsons:  Tom Wammack and wife Chris of Batesville, Tim Wammack of Batesville, Ted Wammack and wife Sheila of Melbourne, Terry Wammack and wife Stacy of Batesville; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchild and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

No memorial service is planned at this time.
