Venetta June Tinkle Killian

Of Tyler, Texas

Venetta June Tinkle Killian, daughter of the late Wesley Tinkle and Alpha Sumner Tinkle, was born June 16, 1934 in Izard County near Guion, Arkansas.   She departed this life September 22, 2024 in Tyler, Texas at the age of 90 years, 3 months and 6 days. June spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, business partner and friend. June was united in marriage to Glenn Lloyd Killian June 20, 1951 and together they raised a daughter.  June and Glenn raised cattle and owned and operated a feed store and cattle ranch in Calico Rock.  In 1967, they moved to Tyler, Texas and established cattle ranch and a fuel distribution business.  June was active in all areas of the business and farm up until her death.

June is survived by one daughter:  Candace Ramona McFarland of Texas; one sister:  Jadine Tinkle Knowles of Brandon, Mississippi; one granddaughter:  Nicole Cartwright; one great grandson:  Preston and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  June was preceded in death by her parents; one sister:  Ernestine Crapo and one brother:  Kay Tinkle.

Graveside funeral service will be Friday, October 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Pineville Cemetery in Pineville, Arkansas with Kevin Bishop officiating.  Arrangements by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
