Velma Irene Hansen Bull

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Velma Irene Hansen Bull, daughter of the late Fern Hansen and Ola Goode Hansen, was born August 13, 1943 in Rawlings, Wyoming.  She departed this life December 18, 2021 at her home in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 5 days. She was united in marriage to Robert Dean Bull and together they raised two children.  Velma spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.  Most of her working years were spent at White River Shirt Factory and being an over the road trucker.

She is survived by two children:  Eugene Bull of Melbourne and Retha Schubert of McAlester, Oklahoma; three brothers:  Walter Hansen of Colorado, Arthur Hansen of Montana and William Hansen of Washington; two grandsons:  Nicholas Bull and Bret Lancaster; seven great grandchildren:  Destiny Markowski, Emily Lancaster, Katie Cottier, Layton Lancaster, Tristan Bull, Savannah Bull, Michael Cottier; cousins:  Bill and Norma Bruce of Melbourne and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister:  Thelma Wallenda; one daughter-in-law:  Lesa Bull; one son-in-law:  Rick Schubert.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, December 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne, Arkansas with Gene Baird officiating.
