Treva Elaine Stanley Rush

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Treva Elaine Stanley Rush, daughter of the late Julia Gregory Bretthauer, was born June 23, 1951 in Larned, Kansas. She departed this life July 22, 2026 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 75. After finishing high school, Treva went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Most of her working years were spent at local hospitals and nursing homes. Treva spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, stepmother, step grandmother, homemaker and friend. Treva was united in marriage to Gary Michael Rush. They attended Oxford Cumberland Presbyterian and United Methodist Church.

Treva is survived by three stepchildren: Mikki Rush of Melbourne, Jan and Chris Wilson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Danny and Mandy Rush of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; two brothers: David Stanley of Oxford, Greg Stanley of Seminole, Florida; six step grandchildren; eleven step great grandchildren; numerous cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather: Karl Bretthauer; her husband; and one sister: Pamela Hunt.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Burial will follow at Combs Cemetery.
