Tony Howard Rand, son of Ralph and Helen Sanders Rand, was born March 17, 1961 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life April 30, 2018 in Dolph, Arkansas at the age of 57 years, 1 month and 13 days. He was a life long resident of Izard County and a 1979 graduate of Calico Rock High School. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. Before his health problems, he worked with his family at Rand Rodeo Company and was a welder at Stone County Ironworks. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Dolph Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents: Ralph and Helen Sanders Rand of Dolph; two sons: Kendall Rand and wife Rachael of Yellville, Kevin Rand of Mountain Home; two daughters: Kayla Rand of Salem and Kendra Rand of Flippin; one brother: Tommy Rand and his wife Sonia of Mountain Home; one sister: Judy Hale and husband Joe of Dolph; eight grandchildren: Kazzie Stewart, Madison Stewart, Trevor Reeves, Caylee Simmons, Haylee Simmons, Keylan Watson, Kyler Rand, Hunter Rand and a host of other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by is sister: Rema Stacy.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Dolph Baptist Church.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Stephens, Andy Sanders, Noel Loosey, Chris Sanders, Cody Stacy and Dwayne Greer, Homer Sanders.
