Tony Leamon Holder

of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas

Tony Leamon Holder, son of the late George Andrew Holder and Dorothy Imogene Tucker Holder, was born October 4, 1956 in Batesville, Arkansas. He departed this life April 8, 2018 at his home in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas at the age of 61 years, 7months and 4 days. Tony spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, provider and friend. He was united in marriage to Barbara Jane Nelson on June 2, 2002. During his working years, Tony worked at Con-Agra in Batesville, retiring after many years of employment.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years: Janie Holder of the home; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Chris Holder of Pleasant Plains, Anthony and Rebecca Holder of Pleasant Plains and Randall and Teresa Craig; one daughter: Amanda Cartwright of Harrison; five sisters: Ruby Cooper and husband Calvin of Concord, Tracie and Randy Gengo of Cave City, Tina and Johnny Lackey of Tumbling Shoals, Lela and Bobby Goodman of Cave City, Kim and Bobby Wagner of Newport; ten grandchildren: Hope Holder, Kilynn Dugger, Christopher Holder, Brooklyn Holder, Samuel Holder, Cheyann Holder, Dillon Holder, Caiden Cartwirght, Starr Holder and Tony Holder; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

His family will be holding a memorial service Saturday, April 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the Guion Depot in Guion, Arkansas.
