Tommy Allen Washington

Of Wideman, Arkansas

Tommy Allen Washington, son of Joe Washington and the late Evelyn Sue Jones Washington, was born July 10, 1964 in Calico Rock, Arkansas.  He departed this life August 13, 2022 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 58 years, 1 month and 3 days.  He was an avid collector of Knives and cigarette lighters and other memorabilia.  Most of all he enjoyed talking to his buddies on his CB radio. Tommy spent his life as a loving son, brother, father, provider and friend.  He worked at the City Garage for many years a mechanic before moving to Sheridan, Arkansas.  While living in Sheridan, he worked at Munsey Products as a mechanic on semi-trucks. In addition to mechanic work, he worked on the air conditioning units at the factory in Little Rock.  he worked in telecommunications before becoming disabled at the age of 37.  After which he returned to Wideman to make his home.  Tommy was of the Church of Christ faith.

He is survived by his father:  Joe Washington of Wideman; his companion and long-time friend:  Brenda Washington; two children:  Jonathan Washington and Ashton (Jackie) Washington; one sister:  Susan Hamby of Wideman; one brother:  Michael Washington of Wideman; one nephew:  Rusty (Missy) Hollenbach of Wideman; one niece Kayla Hamby of Wideman; one great nephew:  Kade Yancey of Wideman and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother:  Evelyn Sue Washington.

No memorial service is planned at this time.
