Timothy William Reeves

Of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas

Timothy William Reeves, son of the late Leslie Coleane Reeves and Alverta "Jean" (Helm) Reeves, was born October 27, 1963, in Batesville, Arkansas. He departed this life February 16, 2024, in Melbourne, Arkansas, at the age of 60 years, 3 months and 20 days. Tim was a lifelong resident of Izard County and a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, provider, and friend. The majority of his career was dedicated to carpentry, yet he attained expertise in numerous other trades, exhibiting versatility across various tasks. Despite facing inner struggles, Tim was a giving person at heart. He loved to share food from his garden and table with friends and neighbors. Tim was an avid hunter and loved spending time outdoors.

Tim is survived by three children: Layton O'Neil Reeves of Springdale, Autumn Lee Gillihan and husband Dwight of Twin Creek and Weston William Lee Reeves of Fox; a granddaughter: Freya Olivia Reeves of Fox; a significant other: Linda Cue; six siblings: Dennis Reeves of Mount Pleasant, Robert Reeves and wife Linda of Horseshoe Bend, Sharon Newell and husband Randy of Gassville, Marvin Reeves and wife Janelle of Moorefield, Donna Rolins and husband Marty of Locust Grove, Beverly Brandt and husband Robert of Seattle, Washington, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Steven Reeves, and one infant brother: Mitchell Reeves.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Bro. Terry Whaley officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to John 3:16 Ministries dedicated to supporting individuals struggling with addiction.
