Thomas Jeferson Dykes, Jr.

Of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas

Thomas Jefferson Dykes, Jr., son of the late Thomas Jefferson Dykes, Sr. and Audrey Sanders Dykes, was born February 3, 1957 I Clinton, Iowa.  He departed this life March 18, 2025 at this home in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 15 days.  Thomas served in the United States Navy as a fireman.  He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend.  Most of his working years were spent as a truck driver and mechanic.

Thomas is survived by two sons:  David Dykes and wife Angie of Brockwell, Mike Dykes of Mount Pleasant; one daughter:  Jennifer Dykes of Mount Pleasant; grandchildren:  David Dykes, Dylan Dykes, Paige Dykes, Morgan Smith, Keressa Campbell, Kaydie Campbell, Shayanne Dykes, Empen Dykes, Shayla Dykes, Angela Brunner and Jade Kemp; several great grandchildren; a sister-in-law:  Mary Davis of Kansas City, Kansas and a host of other relative and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one son:  Thomas Jefferson Dykes, III and his former wife:  Angelia Dykes.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
