Steven Edward Walde

of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Steven Edward Walde, son of the late Edward Walde and Elaine Dahleen Walde, was born June 12, 1960 in Des Moines, Iowa. He departed this life May 29, 2018 in Calico Rock, at the age of 57 years, 11 months and 17 days. He was united in marriage to Anita Stapleton March 27, 1998 in Clarkridge, Arkansas. Steven spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend. Before becoming disabled, he worked at a mobile home company.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years: Anita Walde of the home; five sons: Kelvin Walde, Timmy Clary, Travis Clary, Kevin Burch all of Calico Rock and Kyle Burch of Dodge City, Kansas; three daughters: Smantha Cassin of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jennifer Burch of Mountain Home, Jessica Burch of Salem; four sisters: Janet Griego, Judy Gilliam, Karen Keyworth all of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Debora Garber of Iowa; 20 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister: Linda Walde and one nephew: Chad Wade.
