Stanley Odell Sublett

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Stanley Odell Sublett, son of the late Samuel Andy Sublett and Clarrisa Ann Talburt Sublett, was born August 7, 1932 in Mitchell, Arkansas.  He departed this life February 15, 2022 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 89 years, 6 months and 8 days.  He was united in marriage to Nadine (Moser) Sublett, September 18, 1953 and together they raised two children.  Stanley proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, provider and friend.  Most of his working years were spent as a machine operator at Exide Battery, Georgia Pacific and Owens Illinois. He attended Calico Rock Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years:  Nadine Sublett of the home; one daughter:  Donna Sublett of Kansas City, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one son:  Stephen Sublett; two sisters:  Lorraine Hamilton, Mae Delle Gilbreath and one brother:  Duane "TD" Sublett.

Visitation and funeral service will be Friday, February 18 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Mitchell, Arkansas.
