Stanley E. Shelley

Of Dolph, Arkansas

Stan Shelley, son of the late Samuel and Clela Price Shelley, was born August 24, 1948 in West Plains, Missouri.   He departed this life March 2, 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 12 days.  Stan proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Linda Smith January 11, 1979 and together they raised their combined families as one.  Stan spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend.  Most of his working years were spent at M & M Concrete Blocks in Mountain Home, retiring after 34 years of employment.

Stan is survived by his wife of 46 years:  Linda Shelley of Dolph; two sons:  Johnny Smith and wife Kila of Texas and David Shelley and wife Laurel of Iowa; one daughter Jaylene Cotter and husband Bruce of Henderson; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother:  Lennie Shelley and one son:  Stanley Shelley, Jr.

Visitation and viewing will be held Wednesday, March 5 from 5-7 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock, cremation will follow.
