Sherry Francis Dowdle Garrison

Sherry Francis Dowdle Garrison, daughter of the late Cecil Dowdle and Ola Francis Hendrix Dowdle, was born January 20, 1944 in Melbourne, Arkansas.  She departed this life December 23, 2024 at her home in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 3 days.  She was united in marriage to Darrell Garrison February 21, 1964 and together they raised two sons.  Sherry spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.  During her working years, she sold jewelry at WalMart and worked as a wallpaper installer.

She is survived by two sons:  Lanny Garrison and wife Missi of Cave City and Lane Garrison and wife Christie Lee of Melbourne; one brother:  Rick Dowdle of Melbourne; five grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister:  Doshialain "Dodie" Sherrell; two brothers:  Jimmy Dowdle, Jack Dowdle and one niece:  Shawnette Treat.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, January 3 from 2-4 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
