Sharon Faye McCormack

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Sharon Faye McCormack, daughter of the late Gloria Ida Swain, was born July 26, 1960 in Port Arthur, Texas.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family March 31, 2023 at her home in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 62.  She was united in marriage to Joe McCormack July 15, 1980 in North Little Rock, Arkansas and together they raised three children. Most of her working years were spent as a paraprofessional at North Hills Services in Sherwood, Arkansas.  Many would say her most joyous years were spent on the farm loving her three precious grandchildren giving her the title of Nana.  Sharon spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, Nana, homemaker and loyal friend.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years:  Joe McCormack of the home; two daughters:  Sarah White and husband Zac of Heber Springs and Brandi Tucker and husband Aaron of Lanesville, Indiana; one son:  Joseph McCormack of Heber Springs; one brother:  John Clark of Louisiana; four sisters:  Gayla (Don) Guillory Louisiana, Kathie  (Roger) Dunlap of Louisiana, Janice (Larry) of Louisiana and Terri Anderson of Tennessee; three grandchildren:  Marley White, Luke Tucker, Heidi Tucker; her "Little Momma":  Lois June Persefield of Louisiana; one brother-in-law: Dr. John (Sylvia) McCormack of Missouri; one sister-in-law:  Kathy (Bill) Schmelder of Nebraska and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother and one sister:  Paula Ann Smith.

Visitation and funeral service will be Tuesday, April 4 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.   Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Victor Jones officiating.  Burial will follow at Staggs Cemetery. Sharon's wish was to be surrounded by her loved ones in colorful celebration on this day.  Please limit black attire, there was not a flower she did not like and kiss those babies for her.
