Sean Matthew Hunt, son of John Joseph Miller and Brandy Hunt Wallace, was born July 12, 1996 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He departed this life February 16, 2023 in Viola, Arkansas at the age of 26 years, 6 months and 2 days. Sean was a 2014 graduate of Inola High School in Inola, Oklahoma. He was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation. He went to work as a deputy of Izard County in August 2021. Sean spent his life as a loving father, son, brother, nephew, fiancé, coworker and friend.
He is survived by his fiancé: Katie Smith of the home; one son: Lincoln Hunt of the home; his father and stepmother: John and Stephanie Miller of Franklinville, New Jersey; his mother and stepfather: Brandy and Scott Wallace of Stroud, Oklahoma; four brothers: Cody (Hayley) Hunt of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Ryan Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Adam Miller of Franklinville, New Jersey, Justin Welch of Inola, Oklahoma; his future father and mothers in law: Jody and Angi Smith of Violet Hill and Jennifer Smith of Batesville; his future grandparents in law: Steve and Sue Smith of Franklin and Nita Smith of Sage; aunts and uncles: Kathleen Miller of Carneys Point, New Jersey, Suzanne Miller of Clayton, New Jersey, Jimmy (Amie) Hunt of Salem, Jami Hunt of Salt Lake City, Utah; nieces: Kimber Jeffries, Madison Hunt of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Haydan Wallace of Stroud, Oklahoma; paternal grandmother: Cathy Miller of Clayton, New Jersey; maternal grandparents: Jim and Pat Torix of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Patsy Torix and James Hunt; his paternal grandfather: William Miller.
Visitation and funeral service will be Monday, February 20 at Melbourne High School Gymnasium. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rick Hellums officiating.
Pallbearers: Cody Hunt, Ryan Davis, Mason Stookey, Shawn Hellums, Chase Rodgers, Justin VanBrunt.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jordan Kendle, Adam Miller and Chance Kendle.
