Obituary

Sean Daniel Jason Brooks

Of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas

Sean Daniel Jason Brooks was born June 23rd, 1979 in the rolling hills of Calico Rock, Arkansas. The beloved only son of Cheryl Brooks Shaver, she raised him to become an outstanding Father, unforgettable husband and exceptional friend and member of his community. He is survived by his loving wife Misti Brooks of the home, loving daughters Baylee and Presley Brooks of the home, loving daughter Emily Moore (and husband Ruston) of Independence County and was soon to be PawPaw to his first Granddaughter Emberlynn of Independence County. He is also survived by his wonderful Mother Cheryl Brooks Shaver of Izard County and Father Randy Prow (and wife Cindy) of Texas. Awaiting Sean's arrival in Heaven were his Dad Carl Shaver, Grandparents Bud and Helen Brooks, and his good buddy Randall Lovelace.

Sean leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. He was famous for being him and doing things his own way and on his own time, but we all loved him that much more for it.  He was loved and admired by his daughters who often sought him out for his sound advice and corny jokes. He was his wife's soul mate and best friend. Sean was Cheryl's baby boy from his first day to his last. Sean Brooks may not have been a trophy hunter or expert fisherman, but if you spent any time with him in the woods or on the water, you'd quickly realize he was there for the quality time more than he was for the sport or the game. Once you were a friend of Sean's, you were always a friend.  Beyond spending time being surrounded by the women he loved that made up his little family or being with his friends, Sean loved tending to his farm, driving his truck, eating his weight in Mexican food and watching unrealistic crime dramas.

We are honored to have Jason Edington, John Long Jr., Bradley Brooks, Aaron Brooks, Bryan Strickland and Jeremy Carter as pallbearers with Rusty Tate, Triton Tate and Andy Lee acting as honorary pallbearers.

All too soon on March 12th, 2023 he left this world behind.

He will never be forgotten and will always be loved.
