Scarlet Ann Morris Massingill

Of Norfork, Arkansas

Scarlet Ann Morris Massingill, daughter of the late Orville Douglas Morris and Nancy Carol Thomsen Morris, was born December 31, 1960 in Rockford, Illinois.  She departed this life December 2, 2024 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 63. She was one of nine children and grew up in the country with a love for horses and all animals.  She spent a lot of time studying herbs and all their medicinal purposes. Scarlet spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She worked in several different fields including road construction. She loved hunting, foraging, spelunking and fishing.

Scarlet is survived by one son:  Desmond; four grandchildren:  Emily, Ashley, Abigail and Paul; four sisters:  Cynthia, Sheila, Kimberly, Wendy and one brother Timothy and a host of other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one son:  Nathan; three sisters:  Victoria, Deborah and Tracy.

No memorial service is planned at this time.
