Rusty Lynn Franks

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Rusty Lynn Franks, son of the late Billy Wade Franks and Sandra Kay Taylor Graves, was born October 25, 1972 in Calico Rock, Arkansas.  He departed this life May 22, 2022 in Spoon Flat, Arkansas at the age of 49 years, 6 months and 27 days.  He was united in marriage to Christine Baltz May 7, 2001. Rusty was a lifetime resident of Izard County and spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend.  At the time of his death, he had employed by the Izard County Community Medical Center in the Maintenance Department for twelve years. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, kayaking and playing the guitar.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years:  Christine Franks of the home; two sons:  Jarrett Moorehead and wife Kayla and Josh Moorehead all of Calico Rock; one brother:  Jessie Graves and wife Casey of Salesville; four grandchildren:  Lauren, Beau, Harper and Amelia Moorehead; his mother-in-law:  Denise Paquette and brothers and sister-in-law:  Karen and Barry Edwards and Stephen Baltz all of Mountain View; numerous cousins and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather:  Robbie Graves.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 26 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.  Graveside funeral service will be Friday, May 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Optimus Cemetery.
