Rose Lee Wilson Rye

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Rose Lee Wilson Rye, daughter of the late Vernon Wilson and Dixie Hendrix Wilson, was born June 3, 1950 in Norfork, Arkansas.  She departed this life May 25, 2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 22 days.  Rose spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.  Most of her working years were spent at Baxter Lab in Mountain Home, retiring after 30 years of employment.  She was united in marriage to Ricardo Rye August 30, 2001 in Calico Rock.

Rose is survived by her husband: Ricardo Rye of the home; three daughters:  Donna Johnson and husband David of Humboldt, Tennessee, Bonnie Henson and husband Carl of Calico Rock and Marcy Wilson and husband Calvin of Horseshoe Bend; two brothers:  David Wilson and wife Lori of Harrison and James Wilson and wife Wylema of Oklahoma; two sisters:  Randa Wilson and husband Jack of Whitebill and Jeanette Staggs Pawnee Rock, Kansas; nine grandchildren:  Eddie Cunningham, Allie Gardner, Clayton Henson, Cara Rushing, Deina Henson, Terrie Henson, Cameron Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Conan Wilson; fifteen great grandchildren:  Jacob Cunningham, Brantley Cunningham, Eli Gardner, Lily Gardner, Taylor Stonebreaker, Keelyn Stapleton, Kanen Henson, Abey Rushing, Aaron Rushing, Aiden Rushing, Paisley Rushing, Buddy Rushing, Konner Rushing, Ryan Henson and Oliver Henson; aunts: Etta Lee Patterson of Peoria, Illinois, Martha Teegarden of Mountain Home and Hattiemae Wilson; one uncle:  Leon Taylor of Mountain Home and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers:  Lloyd Wilson, Robert Wilson; four sisters:  Wanda Wilson, Rita Parnell, Jetta Wilson, Carmen Wilson; five uncles:  Bill Hendrix, TDub Wilson, Hays Wilson, Colbert Wilson, Kermit Wilson and one aunt: Carmen Wilson
