Ronnie Lee Burns, son of the late Calvin Narvel Burns and Agnes Eve Thompson Kinnett, was born April 25, 1949 in Mountain View, Arkansas. He departed this life June 28, 2020 at his home in Newark, Arkansas at the age of 71 years, 2 months and 3 days. He was united in marriage to Kim Langston-Crawford September 2, 1993. Ronnie spent his life as a loving son, brother, father, husband, grandfather, provider and friend. During his working years, Ronnie worked at many different jobs. He worked at Chrysler, he was a roofer and logger. He did building maintenance and construction. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Franklin Southern Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years: Kim Burns of the home; one daughter: Loretta Burns of Mountain View; two stepsons: Zachery Crawford of Texas and Nathaniel Crawford of the home; four brothers: Calvin Burns and Jimmy Burns of California, Dale Burns of Wisconsin and Jackie Burns of Batesville; one half brother: Bill Monroe Burns of Mountain View; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Mary Tennant, Sue Burns; three brothers: James Leslie Burns, Lonnie G. Burns, Terry Lynn Burns; one half brother: Johnny Junior Johnson.

Visitation and graveside funeral service will be Friday, July 3.
Visitation at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Graveside funeral service at Caney Spring Cemetery will begin at 2:00 p.m.
