Ronald Dean Staggs

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Ronald Dean Staggs, son of Alma Joyce Martin Staggs and the late Donald Edward Staggs, was born October 1, 1952, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He departed this life December 9, 2022, at his home in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 8 days. He was a graduate of Smithville, Missouri High School. He proudly served in the United States Army. Ronald spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend. He was a truck driver by trade and a retired teamster. He enjoyed living on the farm and raising cattle up until the time of his death. Ron lived life with an open heart & a helping hand and will be missed by everyone he knew . He attended New Hope Christian Fellowship Church.

Ronald is survived by one son:  Nick Staggs of Calico Rock; one daughter:  Shauna Staggs of Kearney, Missouri; his mother:  Alma Staggs of Calico Rock; one sister:  Debbie DiNate and husband David Sr. of Palm Beach, Florida; six grandchildren:  Walker Edward Rutledge, Christian Dean Hubbard, Emily Staggs, Daniel Staggs, Julie Staggs and Aimsly Victoria Staggs; two great grandchildren:  Baylor Staggs and Ryder Staggs; a sister-in-law:  Jackie Staggs of Kansas City, Missouri; former spouse:  Victoria Staggs of Melbourne, Florida;  one niece:  Jennifer Reade of Kearney, Missouri; nephews:  David DiNatale and Dalton DiNatale both of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; several great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father; one son:  Clinton Dean Staggs; one brother:  Daniel Eric Staggs and one nephew:  David Angelo.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14 from 5-7 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Christian Fellowship Church with Wade Moser officiating.  Burial will be at Table Rock Cemetery.
