Ronald Van De Woestyne, son of the late Henry Victor Van De Woestyne and Helen Louise Cox Van De Woestyne, was born February 8, 1945 in Moline, Illinois. He departed this life April 4, 2020 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 27 days. Ron spent his life as a loving son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend. After serving in the United States Army, he went on to manage a fish and aquarium store in Illinois. After moving to Dolph, he worked at Pine Top Liquor store in Jordan for many years.
He is survived by one brother: Jack Anderson and wife Reba of Pineville; three sisters: Dixie Wells and husband Robert of Mansfield, Texas, Linda Shelley and husband Stanley of Dolph and Diana Sanders of Mountain Home; niece: Annette Sanders and her children: Jesse and James Sanders of Calico Rock and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Homer Van De Woestyne and Joe Van De Woestyn and one sister: Shirley Anderson.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
