Robert James Russell
of Dolph, Arkansas
Robert James Russell, son of the late Herbert Joe Russell and Maxine Pearling Guthrie Russell, was born August 9, 1951 in Melbourne, Arkansas. He departed this life November 8, 2018 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 67 years, 2 months and 30 days. He was united in marriage to Wilda Dockins on October 7, 1972 in Pineville, Arkansas and together they raised two children. Robert spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, uncle, father, grandfather, provider and friend. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Robert was an outdoors man. He loved to fish and hunt and made a career out of being a fishing guide on the surrounding rivers and lakes for over 40 years. In addition to being an outdoors man, Robert loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and other family members. In his later years, he especially enjoyed traveling, painting and antiquing, or as he would put it, looking for treasure. He always had a story to tell and he will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Herbert Neal Russell, and John Russell and one sister: Gerry Talburt.
