Robert Allen Nelson
Of Wiseman, Arkansas

Robert Allen Nelson, son of Judith Ann Dye Held and the late John William Nelson, was born
July 2, 1970 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He departed this life May 26, 2024 at his home in
Wiseman, Arkansas at the age of 53 years. Robert spent his life as a loving husband, son, brother,
uncle, father, grandfather, provider and friend. Most of his working years were spent as a diesel
mechanic, he also had a love for team roping in his younger years. He was united in marriage to
Tiffanie Howard March 25, 2022 at Wiseman Baptist Church. Robert was of the Baptist faith and
a member of Belview Baptist Church.
His wife: Tiffanie Nelson of the home; five sons: Ross Nelson and wife Kassi of Batesville,
Will Nelson of Salem, Dominic Fortner and wife Kathryn of Salem, Bryce Fortner of
Bloomington, Illinois, and Aaron Fortner of Roberts, Illinois; two daughters: Ashley Nelson of
Flippin and Abigail Drollinger of the home; his mother: Judith Held and her husband William of
Somerset, Kentucky; two brothers: Paul Nelson and wife Mary of Mountain Home and John
Nelson, Jr and wife Cindy of Bradenton, Floridia; four sisters: Kathryn Nelson of Alburquerque,
New Mexico, Faith Ann Burdick and husband Mark Waller of Hermann, Missouri; Debby Bailey
of Conway and Lesa Kaiser of Somerset, Kentucky; six grandchildren: Triston Nelson,
Guinevere Due, Jaxon Fortner, Ella Fortner, Avery Fortner and Adeline Fortner and a host of
other relatives and many good friends. Robert was preceded in death by his father.
The family will be having a memorial service on Thursday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Belview
Baptist Church with Logan Holladay officiating.
