Robert Douglas Haigwood

Robert Douglas Haigwood, son of Wayne Anderson Haigwood and the late Jimmie Lynice Neal Haigwood, was born June 9, 1969 in Hawthorne, California. He departed this life August 14, 2026 at his home in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas at the age of 57.

Robert is survived by a son: William Cody Haigwood and wife Chelsey; two daughters: Elizabeth Mercedees Haigwood and Brandi Cheyeanne Haigwood Downs; his father: Wayne Anderson Haigwood; two brothers: Richard Wayne Haigwood, Justin Haigwood; one sister: Angel Waureen Haigwood Delaney; numerous nieces and nephews; a grandmother; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother: Jimmie Lynnice Neal Haigwood and three grandparents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne with Dalton Richey officiating. Burial will follow at Caney Springs Cemetery.
