Rita Jo Parker Sanchez

Of Mount Olive, Arkansas

Rita Jo Parker Sanchez, daughter of James Ray Parker and the late Betty Jo Jeffries, was born June 27, 1962 in Saugus, California.  She departed this life November 30, 2022 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 60 years, 5 months and 3 days.  She was united in marriage to Jerry Sanchez December 10, 1997 in Melbourne, Arkansas and they made their home in Mount Olive.  Rita spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend.  She was a member of Mount Olive Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years:  Jerry Sanchez of Mount Olive; three sons:  Johnny Potter of Mountain Home, Shane Tillman and Cody Tillman of Pine Bluff; one stepson:  Robert Sanchez and wife Whitney of Melbourne; her father:  Jim Parker and wife Gail of Simsport, Louisiana; one brother:  Dale Parker and wife Cindy of Mount Olive; two sisters:  Tina Parker of Alexandria, Louisiana and Melissa Lachney of Simsport, Louisiana; one grandson:  John Samuel Potter and one step grandson:  Bryson Dane Sanchez and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother:  James Parker.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 3 at 12:00 p.m. at Mount Olive Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Chris Anderson officiating.
