Richard A. Williams
Of Zion Community, Sage, Arkansas

Richard Andrew Williams, son of Jesse Vidito III and Rhonda Williams Kelley, was born January 16, 1979.  He departed this life October 28, 2020 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 41 years, 9 months and 12 days.  He was united in marriage to Laura Thompson September 15, 2001 in Melbourne, Arkansas and together they were raising six children. At the time of his death, Richard was employed by Vital Link Ambulance Service as an Emergency Medical Technician. He also served Izard County Sheriff's Office as a reserve Deputy.


He is survived by his wife of 19 years:  Laura Williams; three sons and three daughters:  Richard Williams II, Phillip Williams, Charles Williams, Abigail Williams, Lydia Williams and Claire Williams all of Zion; his parents:  Rhonda Kelley of Melbourne; his father and stepmother:  Jesse and Luwanna Vidito of Visalia, California; his parents-in-law:  Linda and Berton Finley of Zion and father-in-law:  Cletus Thompson of Swifton; four brothers:  Christian Williams and wife Deena of Mount Pleasant, Eric Carr of Memphis, Tennessee, Jesse Vidito IV and wife Tracey and Arlo Vidito all of Visalia, California; one sister:  Mindy Torres of Melbourne; three brothers-in-law:  Nathan Hammond and wife Lesa, Al Hammond of Zion and Kenneth Thompson of Swifton; four sisters-in-law: Sharon Hammond Cannon and husband James of Zion, Katherine Finley Griffin of Ashland, Oregon, Tara Finley Spangler and husband Dwayne of Melbourne and Latricia Gay Thompson of Swifton; paternal grandparents: Jesse Vidito and Joanna Vidito and grandmother in-law:  Priscilla Goehring and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Thomas and Beverlee Williams.


A Memorial service with followed by a Celebration of Life for Richard will be held Sunday, November 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Community Building /Volunteer Fire Department, Sage, Arkansas.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Eric Carr, Mindy Torres, Donald Dean, Jason Boyd, Berton Finley, Al Hammond, Nathan Hammond,Joel Huddleston, Dr. Terrell Tebbetts, Melody Gleason and Troy Gleason, Sr and James Cannon.
