Rhonda Annette Mynatt Jeffery

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Rhonda Annette Mynatt Jeffery, daughter of the late Calvin C. Mynatt and Cuba Edwards Mynatt, was born January 15, 1964 in Batesville, Arkansas.  She departed this life February 27, 2026 in Cave City, Arkansas at the age of 62.  After high school, Rhonda went on to graduate from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.  She worked as a paraprofessional.  Rhonda spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend.  She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Melbourne First Baptist Church.

Anyone who met Rhonda will remember her steady smile and a heart that instinctively reached for anyone in need.  Her kindness wasn't limited to family; she opened her arms to the people her loved ones cared about, welcoming Joseph's friends as if they were her own.  She took genuine joy in seeing those friendships grow.

Rhonda is survived by three sons:  Joseph Jeffery of Melbourne, Alvin D. Jeffery (Jamey) of Nashville, William Donald Jeffery (Taylor) of Walnut Ridge; one sister:  Pat Brown and husband Larry of Cave City; one granddaughter:  Eleanor Jeffery; nieces and nephews:  Tara Armstrong (Michael) of Camden, Justin Hightower (Jodie), Shane Hightower, Wendy Reynolds (Sam), Jon Brown (Misty), Steven Brown (Jessica) all of Cave City and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation and funeral service will be March 3, at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rick Burke officiating.  Burial will follow at Reeves Cemetery.
