Rebekah Lyn Johnson

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Rebekah Lyn Johnson, daughter of James Franklin Johnson and Linda Joyce Morton Johnson, was born February 21, 1977.  She departed this life July 22, 2021 near her home in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 44 years, 5 months and one day. Rebekah spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Strawberry Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son:  Lordust Goodman of Washington; her parents:  Linda Johnson of Melbourne and James Johnson of California; two brothers:  Lucas Johnson of Melbourne and Joseph Johnson of California; two grandchildren:  Athena Goodman of Batesville and Santana Goodman of Washington; her maternal grandmother:  Mary Bennett of California; maternal uncle:  Gary Morton of California, her aunt:  Sondra Predeau and husband Bill of Texas; a sister-in-law:  Jeana Johnson of Melbourne and a nephew:  Matthew Johnson of Melbourne and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be Friday, July 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel with Craig Campbell officiating.
