Randy Lynn Hiles

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Randy Lynn Hiles, son of Dennis Carroll Hiles and Mary Lee Barnes Hiles, was born May 11, 1977 in Calico Rock, Arkansas.  He departed this life October 12, 2022 at his home in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 45 years, 5 months and 1 day.  Randy spent his life as a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, provider and friend.  At the time of his death, he was self-employed as a carpenter.

Randy had a sweet spirit and was loved by many. He was determined to do anything to help anyone in need, no matter the strength it took. Randy will be known for his deep love for his sons, the care for his family and friends and his desire to be a better person. Randy was loved deeply by his parents, brothers, sister and sons. He will leave an empty place in the hearts of his family, that can never be filled.

Randy is survived by his parents:  Dennis and Mary Hiles of Brockwell; two sons:  Kyle Anthony Traversie and Carter Dewayne Hiles of Calico Rock and their mother:  Mellisa Traversie of Calico Rock and her son:  Timothy Traversie of Illinois; three siblings:  Denise Jones and husband Steve of Melbourne, Richard Lee Hiles and wife Jennette of Wideman and Brandon Carroll Hiles of Brockwell; one granddaughter:  Natalie Nicole Gleason of Bentonville and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Lindel and Lora Bell Barnes and Carroll Hiles and Mildred Neff.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 16 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.  Graveside funeral service will be Monday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Wideman Cemetery with Ronnie Treat officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to:  Calico Rock Museum and Visitor Center, 105 Main Street, Calico Rock, Arkansas.

Pallbearers: Morgan Hiles, Ronnie Beck, Dalton Grigg, Leon Beck, Alan Barnes and Kevin Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers: Kyle Traversie, Timothy Traversie and Carter Hiles.
