Obituary

Randy Scott Erwin

of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Randy Scott Erwin, son of the late Paul Henry "Butch" Erwin and Marilyn Sue Reagan Wallace, was born on January 5, 1962, in Piggott, Arkansas. He departed this life on July 13, 2026, in Calico Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 64.

Randy was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend whose greatest joy in life was his family. He was the kind of father who would do whatever it took to make his children happy. Though life wasn't always easy, he made sure his children grew up with unforgettable memories and never doubted they were deeply loved.

Throughout much of his career, Randy owned a business specializing in oriental rugs and crafts. Most recently, he served as the manager of the Norfork Trout Dock, combining his love of people with his lifelong passion for fishing and the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time on the lake and river, whether fishing, jugging, or simply making memories with those he loved.

Randy was known for his quick wit, playful personality, and love of good-natured teasing. He could always be counted on for a joke, a prank, or a story that would leave everyone laughing. His sense of humor, generous heart, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Ethan Erwin (Emily Price) of Kentucky; his daughters, Ashton Lester (Aaron) of Pineville and Keela Olson (Joe) of Norfork; his step-siblings, Nikki Reeves Lacy of Poplar Bluff, Jeff Reeves of Piggott, and Gregg Reeves of Qulin, Missouri; his cherished grandchildren, Ariston, Aadon, Aribella Lester, Raphaella, and Obadiah Olson; and many other beloved relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Dorris Erwin; his brothers, Steve Erwin and Mitchell Purdom; and his beloved grandson, A.J. Lester.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
