December 15, 1968 – March 28, 2026
Randall Ray "Randy" Yancey, also known as "Foxy," was born December 15, 1968, in Salem, Arkansas, and passed away unexpectedly at the age of 57.
Randy grew up in Melbourne, Arkansas, where he graduated from Melbourne High School in 1987. He and his twin brother, Rusty, were known as ornery little boys, but they grew into kind and caring men.
Randy dedicated part of his life to serving others through law enforcement, working in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Izard County, Arkansas. He took pride in helping protect and support his community, reflecting his strong sense of duty and compassion for others.
Randy will be remembered for his good heart and his great sense of humor. He was always willing to lend a helping hand—whether it was giving someone a ride, picking up groceries, or simply being there when he was needed. He had a special way of making people feel cared for, and his hugs were unforgettable. Randy deeply loved his friends and family, and they meant everything to him.
He was especially proud of his children, Keegun and Kyla. Being their dad was one of his greatest joys and his proudest accomplishments.
Randy shared a special and meaningful bond with Anna Kay, whom he loved dearly and treated as his own, creating a connection that will always be cherished.
He also shared an especially deep and meaningful bond with his grandmother, Lenora Yancey, who was his rock.
Randy is survived by his son, Keegun, and daughter, Kyla; his partner, Angie Sharp; his mother, Nancy Grice Elkins; his father, Gerald Yancey; his twin brother, Rusty Yancey; his sisters, Jana Roe and Libbey Dugan; his grandmother, Lenora Yancey; his uncles, Jack Yancey and Rick Yancey; his aunt, Tamara Bryant; and his brother, Blandon Elkins; as well as Angie's daughters, Anna Kay and Haley, and her grandchildren, Reid and Remi.
He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, service, and love that will be cherished by all who knew him.
