Randall Stephen Wortham

Randall Stephen Wortham, son of the late Harold Lockwood Wortham and Sarah Parmer Wortham, was born November 23, 1955 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He departed this life January 4, 2023 at his home in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 12 days. Steve was raised in Cash, Arkansas and moved to Melbourne in 1985. His working years were spent mostly as a cattle farmer and businessman. He had a true passion for livestock learned from his father and enjoyed sharing it with his children and grandchildren. He loved to talk about cattle and ride in his ranger to check out the farm. After retiring from the cattle business, he spent his time fishing, hunting, talking with friends and family, joking around, and telling stories of the past. He was a strong and determined man who loved his children and grandchildren dearly.
He is survived by two sons: Shane Wortham and wife Kelsey of Violet Hill, Isaiah Wortham of Greenbrier, Arkansas; two daughters: Shannin Wortham of Newport, Arkansas and Stephanie Johnson and husband Jimmy of Newport, Arkansas; one brother: Farris Wortham of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one sister: Linda Meador of Blytheville, Arkansas; ten grandchildren: Michael, Tyler, Shawn, Caroline, and Courtney Wortham, Patrick Millins, Sammy, Abigail, Matthew and Jill Johnson and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Danny Wortham and Wayne Wortham, and one sister: Glenda Watling.
Graveside funeral service will be Monday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Caney Spring Cemetery in Sage with Ryan Lloyd officiating under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers: Chuck Tate, John Vest, Hayden Wyatt, Wayne Langston, J. R. Ennis and Seth Wortham.
