Ralph Eual Rand

Of Dolph, Arkansas

Ralph Eual Rand, son of the late Owen Rand and Bulah Cordella Williams Rand, was born October 6, 1928 in Norfork, Arkansas. He departed this life April 26, 2023 at his home in Dolph, Arkansas at the age of 94 years, 6 months and 20 days. He was united in marriage to Helen Marie Sanders December 4, 1953 and together they raised four children. Ralph was a Rodeo Producer, cattle farmer and horse trader. Rand Rodeo Company was recognized as the 1999 Stock Producer of the Year and ACA Cowboys' Choice Producer of the Year in 2013. In 1996, Ralph was ACA Cowboy of the Year. Ralph and Helen were named 1998 Izard County Farm Family of the Year. Ralph was of the Baptist faith.

Ralph is survived by one son: Tommy Rand and wife Sonia of Mountain Home; eight grandchildren: Andy Hale, Sarah Smith, Dusty Wheeler, Cody Stacy, Kendall Rand, Kayla Gardenhire, Kendra Rand and Kevin Rand; special family friend:  Darlene Dart of Dolph and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 70 years, Helen Rand; two daughters: Rema Stacy and Judy Hale; one son: Tony Rand and one sister: Florine Sanders.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 30 from 5-7 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Memorial service will be Monday, May 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Dolph Baptist Church with Victor Jones and Raymon Carneal officiating.

Pallbearers: Tom Green, J. W. Yates, Eric Sanders, Jessy Smith, Justin McCarson and Jr. Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers: Andy Hale, Joe Hale, Cody Stacy, Kendall Rand and Tom Franks.
