Susan Floyd Lovelace

Of Mountain Home, Arkansas

Susan Floyd Lovelace was born November 24, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana to James Demelee and Roberta (Helm) Floyd.  She went to be with her Saviour April 24, 2025. She married the love of her life, John Price Lovelace September 2, 1988. She was a registered nurse at Baxter Regional Medical Center, Sneed Eye Clinic and several nursing facilities in the area.  She also prepared taxes at H and R Block. She was an active member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Mountain Home.  Sue enjoyed working on the family farm with her husband, singing gospel music, gardening, canning vegetables, making quilts and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Susan is survived by her husband of 36 years:  John Lovelace of the home; three sons:  Nathan Kizer and his wife, Kamini of Golden, Colorado, Aaron Kizer and his wife, Jessica of Raymore, Missouri, John Thomas Lovelace of Bella Vista; one daughter:  Alison Lovelace of Bakersfield, Missouri; one granddaughter:  Shelby Kizer; one great granddaughter:  Lilly of Raymore, Missouri;  two brothers:  Timothy Floyd and his wife Sherry of Brownsburg, Indiana, Stephen Floyd of Avon, Indiana; one sister:  Sara Eldredge and her husband Mike of Owensboro, Kentucky; one sister-in-law:  Cindi Floyd of Mountain Home; several beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved brother:  David Floyd and her precious granddaughter:  Jillian Marie Kizer.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 30 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.  Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock with Ken Gilchrist officiating.  Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery (Wises Chapel Cemetery).

Pallbearers:  Jeremiah Irish, Ryan Edwards, Jeremy Yearman, Casey Stowe, John David Snellgroes, Nathan Snellgroes.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Joyce Franks, Sandy Elam, Judy Gilchrist.
