Priscilla Mae Shell Belk Goehring

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Priscilla Mae Shell Belk Goehring, daughter of the late Elmer and Nettie Starnes Shell, was born January 3, 1926 in Winganon, Oklahoma.  She departed this life August 22, 2021 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 95 years, 7 months and 19 days.  She was united in marriage to Lloyd R. Belk January 31, 1944 and together they raised seven children.  In June 1961 Priscilla married Wilfred R. Goehring and together they had two children.   Priscilla spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Presbyterian faith.

Priscilla is survived by two sons:  Larry Balk and wife Janette of Danbury, Texas, Paul Goehring and wife Kasey of Angleton, Texas; four daughters:  Sandra Nelson of Oxford, Linda Finley and husband Burton of Zion, Marcella Belk of Melbourne and Cinda Rich of Angleton, Texas; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; fourteen great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands and three sons:  Alan Belk, Gary Belk, and Phillip Belk.

Graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, August 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Caney Springs Cemetery with Bill Grothe officiating.

Pallbearers:  Paul Goehring, Larry Belk, Nathan Hammond, Richard Hammond, Levi McCurley and Kyle Rich.
