Peggy Jean Seay

Of Pineville, Arkansas

Peggy Jean Seay, daughter of the late Gulley R. Seay and Stella Irene Wayland Seay, was born September 25, 1937 in Pinevllle, Arkansas. She departed this life December 21, 2020 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 26 days. Peggy spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, niece, aunt and friend. Peggy attended college and earned a Master's Degree in Library Science and Education. Most of her working years were spent with the Mountain Home School District working as a librarian. She retired after many years of employment. Peggy was of the Presbyterian faith and an active member of Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was the organist.

Peggy is survived by one brother: Paul Wayne Seay and wife Sue of Guion; two nephews: Mark Seay and wife Lynn of Mountain View and Mike Seay and wife Sherri of Jordan; several other nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: Jack Seay, Glen Seay, Dale Seay, Maurice Seay and one sister: Kathleen Seay Burford.

Graveside funeral service will be Wednesday, December 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Pineville Cemetery with Jason Chambers officiating.

Pallbearers: Mark Seay, Mike Seay, Terry Seay, Preston Seay, Casey Seay, Richard Turner.
