Paula Kaye Estes McClellan
Of Mountain Home, Arkansas
Paula Kaye Estes McClellan, daughter of the late Kenneth Estes and Arline Morgan Estes, was born December 27, 1942 in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas. She departed this life January 14, 2021 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 78 years and 18 days. After graduating high school, Paula went on to attend business school in Little Rock. After graduation, she went to work at Phillips Oil Company in Kansas City, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Gary L. McClellan November 12, 1965. While living in Mountain Home, she worked at Baxter Lab, retiring after 33 years of employment. Paula spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, homemaker and friend. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of Calico Rock Methodist Church.
Paula is survived by her husband of 55 years: Gary McClellan of the home; one brother: Rick Estes of Bandmill; seventeen nieces and nephews: Micki Sanders (Bruce) of Calico Rock, Cherrie Estes of Calico Rock, Craig Estes (Amanda) of Jonesboro, Bud Laffoon (Beverly) of Wayland, Missouri, Kathy Buschling (Fred) of Wayland, Missouri, Gretchen Myers (David) of Oak Grove, Missouri, Mark Rush (Lolita) of Batesville, Kelly Rush (Becky) of Batesville, Kevin Rush of Batesville, Mike Rush (Stacy) of Federal, North Carolina, John McClellan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mark McClellan, Mitch McClellan, Bart McClellan all of Norman, Oklahoma, Jenny Whitecotton, Nancy Whitecotton, Tom Whitecotton all of Manteca, California; two great nephews: Byler and Carpenter Estes of Jonesboro and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Carmen Estes and one niece: Beth Lewis.
Visitation and funeral service will be Tuesday, January 19 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Kelly Rush, Kevin Rush, Kevin Hardaway, Craig Estes, Curtis Casey, Bruce Sanders.
Honorary Pallbearers: Randy Estes, Buddy Laffoon and Mark Rush.
