Paul Daniel Farmer

Of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas

Paul Daniel Farmer, son of the late Elburn Olvin Farmer and Melburn Lorene Williams Farmer, was born July 6, 1944 in Merced, California.  He departed this life January 19, 2025 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 13 days. Paul spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend. Most of his working years were spent as a heavy equipment operator.  He was united in marriage to Karen Stubbs February 10, 1985 and together they made their home in Mount Pleasant.  He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Mount Pleasant Southern Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years:  Karen Farmer of the home; three children:  Gordon Scott Farmer of Texas, Paulette Lorene Rush (Chuck) of Lynn, Suzanne Darlene Rounsavall of Walnut Ridge; three brothers:  Charles Farmer of Oakdale, California, Jerry Farmer of Medesto, California, Gary Farmer of Hamilton, Missouri; one sister:  Linda Borghi of Danville, California; three grandchildren:  Yancy Preston Farmer, Jett James Waddell, Elizabeth Angelica Chambers, four great grandchildren: Tristan Danielle Bell, Kaiah Elizabeth Farmer, Makayla Farmer, Elias Yancy Farmer and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter:  Sarah Beth Waits, one stepbrother:  Glen Gondolfi;  two brothers:  Richard Farmer, Larry Farmer and two sisters:  Lorraine Sapanar and Carol Lewis.
