Pattijane George Torell

of Jordan, Arkansas

Pattijane George Torell, daughter of the late John E. George and Polly McDowell George, was born October 5, 1943 in Hollywood, California. She departed this life July 5, 2018 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 74 years and 9 months. Pattijane spent most of her working years as a heavy equipment operator. At one time she was employed by the actor Fess Parker at his winery in California. Pattijane was an artist. Her oil, acrylic and water color paints won several awards. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years: Stewart Torell of the home; one stepson: Michael Torell of Grover Beach, California; two daughters: Roxanne Favors and husband Nathaniel of Lubbock, Texas, Julieann Cardenas and husband Josh of San Diego, California; one stepdaughter: Melissa VanHook and husband Matthew of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one sister: Amy Lou Sanford of Ruidoso, New Mexico; eight grandchildren: Jeremy Martinez, Veronica Martinez, Valerie Martinez, Alexis Favors, Layla Favors, Mary Cardenas and Marina Cardenas and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Gary George and Michael George; one sister: Gayle Thies and one grandson: Malcolm Favors.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Trimble Campground Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dolph.
