Patricia (Pat) Marice Plough Sanders

Of Mountain Home, Arkansas

Patricia (Pat) Marice Plough Sanders, daughter of the late Hugh A. Plough and Hazel E. Gray Plough, was born October 22, 1933 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  She departed this life January 10, 2021 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 19 days.  She was united in marriage to Burling (Laz) Sanders September 16, 1950 and together they raised three children.  Pat spent her life as a loving daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.  Most of her working years were spent at Baxter Lab in Mountain Home, retiring after many years of employment.  She was of the Baptist faith and a member of First Baptist Church of Mountain Home.

She is survived by two sons:  Rick Sanders of Pineville and Randy Sanders of Dolph; one daughter:  Sharon Housley and husband Eddie of Russellville; four grandchildren:  Brandon Sanders and wife Nancy of Mountain Home, Tyrel Sanders and wife Jamie of Dolph, Kelsey Wilson and husband William of Atlanta, Georgia and Ryan Sanders of Kent, Washington; three great grandchildren:  Colin Sanders, Ryker Miller, and Faith Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband and two grandsons:  Jason and Jared Guthrie.

Visitation and graveside funeral service will be Wednesday, January 13 at Wayland Arbor Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Graveside funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Pallbearers:  Brandon Sanders, Tyrel Sanders, Carl Russell, Tommy Sanders, Terry Sanders and Jim Housley.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Kenneth Sanders, Rex James, Allen Housley, Steven Housley
