Patricia Lea Wilson Jeffery
of Calico Rock, Arkansas
Patricia Lea Wilson Jeffery, daughter of the late Jesse Arthur Wilson and Ada Pitts Wilson, was born August 14, 1936 in Maitland, Missouri. She departed this life March 4, 2019 in Webb City, Missouri at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 18 days. She was united in marriage to Harold Ray Jeffery on April 1, 1955 and together they raised two daughters. As a mother, Pat sought to instill in her daughters a zest for life, commitment to family and friends and the power of a smile. Pat spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker, teacher and friend. In 1964 she graduated from Arkansas College with a teaching degree and spent the next twenty-eight years teaching Business at Calico Rock High School. Pat retired in 1993. In 2014 she was inducted into the Calico Rock School District Hall of Honor. She was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Pat is survived by her husband of 63 years: Harold Ray Jeffery of the home; two daughters: Jill Endicott (Bill)of Oronogo, Missouri and Joni Good of Webb City, Missouri; one sister: Jean Whiteaker of Emporia, KS; one brother: David Wilson of Calico Rock; six grandchildren: Shelby Marshall (Brad) of Cord, AR, Hannah Kent (Jake) of Webb City, Darby Lillard (Brandt Weston)of Oronogo, Harold Lillard of Oronogo, Jack Good and Parker Good both of Webb City; seven great grandchildren: Blain, Brody and Blakey Marshall, and Peyton and Emma Weston, Jay and Thomas Kent; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Francis Jetton, Leila Drown; five brothers: Scott Wilson, Bill Wilson, Charles Wilson, Bob Wilson, Don Wilson; one grandson: Jeffery Layne Sanders.
Visitation will be Friday, March 8 from 5-7 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Wayne Wood and Victor Jones officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Kenny Thornton, Lance Whiteaker , Warren Sanders, Bobby Lindsey, Christopher Moad, Josh Wilson, Charles Sneathern, Lyndle McCurley.
Honorary Pallbearers: Calico Rock Class of 1954 and Class of 1957.
