Jun 14, 1943 — Aug 19, 2025
Ona Mae Finley Reynolds
of Ft. Smith, Arkansas
Ona Mae Reynolds, 82, passed away August 19, 2025 at home with her family. She was born June 14, 1943, in Zion, Arkansas to the late James "Nelious" and Mildred (Miller) Finley. Ona was of the Christian faith and knew her bible from cover to cover. She often enjoyed falling to sleep while listening to a sermon from one of her favorite ministers. She was a lover of politics and could tell you exactly what current events were happening at any given time. Ona worked several places throughout her life and one of those was being a care giver. She even went to work at a local nursing home when her mother had to move into one. She worked the night shift and her sister worked the day shift to make sure their mother received the care she needed. When asked what her greatest role was in her 82 years of life, she proudly stated making a home for her family and taking care of them. She loved her family and friends with everything she had. Ona was beautiful, loving, loyal and fiercely protective of her family. Anyone who knew her personally also knew how much fun she was.
Ona is survived by one son: Randy Reynolds (Tianna) of Cave City, Arkansas; one daughter: Debbie Jennings (Gary) of Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Grandchildren: Chris Reynolds of Cabot, Arkansas, Jessica Crouse (Charlie) and Stephanie Reynolds all of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Nathan Jennings (Jessica) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, David Jennings (Montana) of Lavaca, Arkansas. Of Batesville, Arkansas; Bonnie Ketron of Cave City, Arkansas; brother, Dale Finley (Sonya) of Sydney, Arkansas, thirteen great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
